Design Notes

This composite part was assembled from three basic parts that are part of the MocloMania collection. Due to the highly standardizes set of overhangs that all our basic parts comply with, assembly could be achieved by a simple Moclo ligation. The design of this part was motivated by the aim of verifying the correct adaptation of its underlying sub-parts to the MoClo cloning standard, namely that of the fluorescent mCerulean in B3_B4.

Furthermore, we generated and transfected this part in order to introduce another exemplary target protein other than the SARS-CoV-2 receptor binding domain into Leishmania and test for its successful expression.
